Special Diet PolicyKosher and Halal Food Policy
- A student following a kosher or halal diet should contact the Demske Culinary Support Center to discuss special dietary needs. Students will need to provide detailed information about their dietary restrictions.
- The student will then be requested to schedule a meeting with Culinary Services at (513)529-3040 to coordinate needs with the Demske Culinary Support Center.
- A student with special requirements, who feels their needs cannot be fulfilled by individual selection from the kosher frozen food products, pre-packaged kosher dry goods and fresh salad bars offered will want to speak with our Culinary Specialist.
Food Allergy/Food Intolerance Policy
- A student will be asked to provide documentation from a licensed physician (D.O. or M.D.) on diagnosis and recommendation for food avoidances. In addition, the student may be requested to meet with the campus physician.
- The student should download the special diet medical documentation form on the Dining Services website and take the form to their physician to fill out.
- The student should return the completed form with the physician's signature to the Demske Culinary Support Center.
- The student will then be requested to schedule a meeting with Culinary Services at (513)529-3040 to coordinate needs with the Demske Culinary Support Center.
- If necessary, dining services will obtain a limited amount of dry food and frozen food products to fulfill a complete, balanced diet.
