Maplestreet Station Hall

Maplestreet Station (residence) Hall, located on Southeast Quad, is the newest addition to Miami’s LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) residence halls and sits atop the university’s newest dining location, Maplestreet Station, featuring seven (7) uniquely delicious restaurant concepts. Maplestreet Station Hall is conveniently located between Etheridge Hall, Miami’s newest residence hall and the Performing Arts Center. Just short distances away are both the REC Sports and Armstrong Student Centers. All rooms are equipped with: twin-XL mini-loft style beds (80" x 36" mattress size), desks, ergonomic chairs, dressers, window shades, ceiling lights, and small trash cans.

Maplestreet Station (residence) Hall, located on Southeast Quad, is the newest addition to Miami’s LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) residence halls and sits atop the university’s newest dining location, Maplestreet Station, featuring seven (7) uniquely delicious restaurant concepts. Maplestreet Station Hall is conveniently located between Etheridge Hall, Miami’s newest residence hall and the Performing Arts Center. Just short distances away are both the REC Sports and Armstrong Student Centers. A significant departure from Miami’s traditional residence hall floor plan design, Maplestreet Station Hall is comprised of 3 individual “houses”(just imagine a 16 bedroom house!). Each house is full of student requested amenities consisting of a: • large, comfortably furnished “great room” with lots of natural light • large flat screen TV • kitchenette • study room • private and shared bathrooms. In addition, each double occupancy room contains: • environment-friendly, individually controlled thermostat for air-conditioning and heat (HVAC) • “Hi-Lo level” overhead light and HVAC occupancy sensors • mini-loft style beds, dressers, desks and comfortable, ergonomic desk chairs with individual closets • eight (8) “arc-fault,” safety electrical outlets • Data and cable TV connections • Wi-fi Due to Maplestreet’s unique “two-sided” exterior (the 7 restaurant entrances face Maple St. while the residence hall entrance faces Patterson Ave.), Maplestreet’s multiple “common areas” contain the following for the enjoyment of all hall residents and their guests: • grand entry and living room • large rec room with projection TV • fully equipped -size kitchen • laundry and vending rooms • group study rooms • mail room Finally, Maplestreet Station Hall is designed with the latest safety features including: • fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems • electronic door access
