Parking for People With Disabilities 
General Information
Disability parking spaces on campus are located closest to the handicap accessible doors at each building. These handicap accessible entrances are marked on each building with a small blue arrow on the campus parking map (pdf).
Violations
The fine for a handicap violation ranges between $250-$500. Any vehicles parked in handicap parking spaces on campus without a valid handicap placard should be reported to Miami University Police at 513-529-2222.
Obtaining Handicap Parking Privileges
The Parking Services Office does NOT have the authority to grant parking in a handicap space. If you feel you need parking accommodations because of a temporary or permanent disability you will need to contact the local Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) to request handicap parking information.
