These seminars may be in Cincinnati, Dayton or on campus (offered by the Office of Human Resources or the Office of Staff Development). Staff members will not lose pay to attend this seminar, however time attending a seminar outside regular hours will be unpaid time. If you cannot attend the seminar you are signed up for, you will have to wait a period of six months to sign up for another seminar. When you cancel a seminar without notice, we still must pay for your spot on that day. For budgetary purposes, each person may only go to one seminar per year (managers may request an exception to this rule for any of their staff who have specialized needs at any time). If you know you cannot attend the seminar you are signed up for,
contact us at least a week in advance so your reservation can be cancelled.
