Recreation

A wide range of recreational activities are available on campus and in our community. Two professional golf courses are minutes away, including the one at Hueston Woods State Park. The Park also offers hiking, biking, horseback riding, sailing. Day passes and group activities are available at our impressive 159,000 sq. ft. Recreational Sports Center on campus, which is open seven days a week and offers:
  • Low and High Ropes Courses
  • Olympic-size pool
  • Indoor running track
  • Fitness Center
  • 40 ft indoor climbing wall
The service-oriented and flexible staff at the Recreational Sports Center offer the G.O.A.L. Program (Group Opportunities And Leadership) in which they individually design activities and scenarios to promote communication, trust, teamwork, risk-taking and leadership through the use of the campus's 18-element low ropes course. The trained facilitators can custom design other experiential activities to meet the specific needs of your group as well.
